What's refined salt?
It's mostly maintained with sodium chloride, using it for consumption and industrial manufacturing. It is a white powder or fine crystalline substance obtained from underground rock salt or natural brine, and purified through a refining process.
The processing of pure white salt
The process begins with the preparation of raw brine. After the brine is pumped up from underground, it is transferred to a settling pond, where impurities and heavy metals harmful to the human body are allowed to precipitate. Once purified raw brine is obtained, it then undergoes the crystallization process, followed by the removal of residual moisture.
Characteristics of pure salt
It is salt containing not less than 97% sodium chloride (on a dry weight basis), appearing as a white powder or fine crystals, free from any visible impurities, and packaged in clean, strong, durable containers that are tightly sealed and moisture-resistant.
